dont get me wrong , the stock intake box is good , but give the engine an aftermarket intake and you can feel the difference

I took off the stock airbox with my K&N drop in filter and you could hear the stock bov pretty loud.

if you want to get more out of your aftermarket short ram, you need to take the under tray out.

stockers are restrictive because of the filter element. that's all. the box itself is designed well, but what ARC is doing is making the airbox bigger so it could hold more air inside the box. Also, it uses less restrictive filter elements.

thus, creating better intake induction with lesser restriction, and this makes car go faster, throughout the powerband, unlike the short ram design, which is good for high end hp.

I love this intake but once I get my xede, and my wideband and egt probes installed I dont think I can handle tweeking it with the intake from what the other tuners experienced. Ill just stick to the stocker with drop-in unless there is something designed just like it without any maf issues.
