Should i get a turbo back exhaust with a cat delete or high flow cat?

Cat-Delete, Brother. It ! I'm running the Perrin with the O2 Simulator. It's easy to install and avoids the CEL. There was another thread recently where a lot of people were recommending UR. I don't personally know anything about it, but they claim it's a 3" cat delete and they have never had a CEL. Either way, the performance gains were impressive and it gave me just the right sound I was going for. It does smell like , though!

But i need a cat delete with an o2 simulator. I need a reliable one, do you have any links? Also can you put lets say different brands together? i hear the perrin cat delete is good yet i want either the BR or the AMS catback/downpipe.

Cat-less doesn't hurt your turbo.... you're NOT running an anti-lag system, do no assosiate normal backfires with misfiring or anti-lag setup.
The reason you get the fireballs is due to very hot unburnt fuel (due to running rich) coming in contact with oxygen once it leaves the exhaust. Cats or high-flow cats restrict this from reaching the exhaust tip while it's still so hot.

i get it now, so whats brands should i get? can i get different brands put together and long as they are 3" or they will have fitment issues? per say, i want to get the perrin cat delete since it comes with the o2 simulator, but i might get the buschur catback and downpipe. Also does anybody know if the AMS turbo back exhaust bring the o2 simulator?

Brands is up to what you like: looks, sound, and performance...most of them performe fairly similiar so it's up to you past that...I would guess that there wont be any fitment issues with a cat-delete..but with other parts there could be...and they dont have to all be 3" as long as they still bolt up, but you'll lose the large amount of flow you gain...basicallly if you have one little pipe that's 2.5 in and the rest is 3 you'll have roughly a 2.5" performing exhaust...when I need emissions we'll see how big of a difference that is being that I'll be bolting the stock cat up to my exhaust in place of the catdel

I know I will be flamed...
I am not sure why people go cat-less. I knwo it makes 10-15HP more, but I am not sure it worths it to harm the environment. And I just can't stand the smell of cat-less car... you know it everytime when you step out of the car. :coughing:
I am not those hardcore save-the-enviro people, but I just wnat to at least do my part not to make it worse. Enough said, and I am ready to be flamed

BJai - I won't flame you at all for your opinion about going cat-less; I think it's a matter of personal choice. I don't think it's a very *wise* choice if you live in California or another state with strict emission laws where you could be fined out the wazoo - but if your state doesn't have emission testing... it's an easy 10-15hp gain.
One point about the environment - here in NE Florida, they had emission testing until about six years ago; it was an annual requirement. My girlfriend is an environmental engineer and works closely with the DEP (the state version of the EPA) and can you guess why they stopped doing it?
Because the environmental "cost" of pollutants being emitted by non-compliant cars was FAR less than the cost of testing for them.
I read far more than I post on this forum, and there was a mini-war over this same issue some time ago - let's not turn this one into the same thing.
