Any feed back on the AMS turbo back???

I looking forward on getting their full exhaust, but i'd like to know the gains or weight savings. Also does their cat delete bring an o2 simulator?

i haven't bought an exhaust yet but some of my friends have and they all love the sound and the gains. your best bet would be to contact eric from ams. Everytime i go in they always treat me real well. they have excellent customer service.

Yea I have the AMS turboback with the cat delete pipe and it is awesome!!! You will not be dissapointed! At first I had the AMS hi flow cat on and it didnt throw any CEL, but then went to the cat delete and that threw the CEL but was easily fixed with this cheap mod https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=98573

The sound and the power gains are incredible!

Yes, you do smell a difference every once in a while. But now after Ive been running the cat delete for about a couple hundred miles i dont really notice it anymore. When I first put it on you could tell the difference pretty disticntively. Now the smell has pretty much gone away.

i have AMS turboback w/ test pipe. you can smell the exhaust a little more than w/ high flow cat but not that much more and that is on the outside of the car. i can idle the car all day and never smell it inside. never have. the sound of the exhaust is great, i always punch it under bridges. its loud but not too loud. you could describe it as loud when you want it to be. at idle and tooling around town it has a nice low rumble but at WOT you will **** people off. dont worry about burning the bumper the tip sticks out far enough so you wont. also dont worry about the fumes or whatever w/ the test pipe. this is a 2.0L 4 cyl engine how much pollution can it put out. every day i see tractor trailers putting out plumes of black smoke into the sky every time they shift. until that is fixed im sure as hell not worried about my evos fumes.

would this turboback attract the attention of police in terms of loudness?

if any of you know, how comparable is this to the greddy Ti exhaust w/3inch dp and cat delete? i have this on my car now but i need to replace the whole system and am considering the AMS along with some others....

Its pretty dang loud. There was an Evo at the drag strip a few weeks back when I was there that had the exhaust and you heard it the whole way down the track and then some. Sounds nice on the inside though.

Yea people tell me my exhaust is loud every time I run it at the track. I don't mind it too much though. Like somebody else pointed out, it is only loud when you punch it.

i switch from a greddt ti/helix set up.the greddy gives a great sound, and i the how light it was.i remember eric from AMS telling me how the greddy is real restricted on flow.he said that there set up will be better, and i would notice more gain out of the AMS TB.so i ordered the whole set up,and he was right .the sound park in a little louder than the greddy set up i had,but still maintans a deep mean sound.make the switch,it's worth it

^ you felt more power after the switch? I can't see how the AMS tbe would be that much better than (starting from dp) Helix, Helix and then Greddy.

dude, the greddy/hks/bigger product company exhaust are not very good at all.the buschur/ams exhaust gave a lot better feel in power.you can tell.plus when i had my helix dp,and ams dp out to compare,i don't think helix is a true 3'.
