Dissapointed at the dyno

i went to get my car dynoed at xs-engineering and it put down 290whp at 6497 rpms, i have the boos set to 1.44 bar and it drops to 1.22 by redline, any ideas of wut might be wrong i figured i should atleast hit 300 hp, from wut i herd most every stock car dynos around 250ish their so that would only be a 40 hp increase, any advice would be helpful

Yeah I know, I have Stage 4 parts and only dyno 320whp on 91 Octane and that was a mild tune 10:2 A/F Ratio due to the bad gas

Your expectations are higher than the gas octane. Realize pump gas in the East is halfway to race gas in the West. 10-20 whp on average.

Screw the peak number. What does the area under the curve look like?

XS' dyno is a 4wd if i remember correctly... lot's of dyno numbers you see are fwd only converted... 4wd dyno aren't very common...

yea that is true that most dynos are not 4wd, im still concerned how even with a manual boost controller the boost is still falling off 3 psi by 6000 rpms

mine falls off as well, it's just the way it goes. Getting close to 300whp on 91 octane is hard as is. I made only 309 on 91 with many more mods. So what you are seeing is normal. Put some 100 octane and I guarantee you will see extra 20whp.

The reason I asked what dyno is because different dynos (all 4wd considered) put down different numbers with a big margin of difference.
