I sure would like to see a pic of this design trick. No way it can make it spool 2-3000rpm faster. Can you be a little more specific? I thought about doing this to create an anti-revision lip. Say a 1.5 inch tube inside a 2.0 inch turbo opening. Flow well into the turbo, shock wave doesn't travel well backwards. Same principal as anti-revision header.
