Go standalone all the way. AEM, Apex Power FC(D-Jetro or HKS. It will save you from having to send in for a reflash if you plan on serious mods. Nothing against flashes just my 2cents.

put everything u want in your car then get a reflash, stand alone units need A LOT of tuning if u want to do it "right", and that means knowing a very good tuner and a good dyno. the butt dyno and o2 wideband gauge doesn t cut it.

lot of people i know with aem are making very good power, but the drivability sufered a lot. you wont have that problem with a flash.

Yeah I think I will do the reflash, I looked up the Vishnu site and I liked it. I already have most of the other parts they are offering, I'll probably go with the 360 Hp package. I have the exhaust, the front pipe, intercooler piping, suction pipe and the spark plugs.

I heard if you put all of the parts on before the reflash then the car will run sluggish, the computer is too sensitive?

i wouldn t say sluggish but u will lose a lil bit of torque somewhere in the power band, but gain some in the top end, the reflash evens out everything and give good power all across the power band...the intake is what will cause u the most problem because the maf sensor is very sensitive, even vishni recomends to keep the stock intake box.

Oh yeah, I got my money back for that Japanese ECU, no problem. The only problem I have now is that I'm headed to Hawaii, they have so many restrictions about modifying cars

Hopefully before the end of this year we will be flashing the Japanese and Euro 3-prong EVO ECUs as well as EVO V, VI, and VII. We saw lots of them in England last month. Good Luck!
