I did back in 2003. HP numbers were the same but the a/f ratio was a lot richer in 4th then 3rd.

from my experience nomatter what gear u do your pull u will get the same numbers, the curve will look like a lil bit different that s all. At least this is true with dyno dynamics dyno.

I dyno in 3rd gear in the EVO's. It does make a difference in power/torque and spool up for sure. The pulls are over quicker, that's the biggest reason I do them in 3rd. It just takes less time and is less abusive on the car. With 335 dyno pulls on the RS I am doing all I can to keep from doing a rebuild before I hit 3,000 miles! haha
