I would def. do it at this point. I dont' find it necessary for Exhaust, intake, and a flash even though it can't hurt. Anything over that and Walbro all the way

Im just going to say yes it is.. With the amount of extra lift and air you pull in your going to wish you had the pump there. You will be more at peace knowing you have it on there.

But isn't the stock fuel system make our cars run pig rich..? So, why the need of more fuel when you have enough of it..?
Just curious...

You should get one, you're going to need the cams to be tuned so might aswell have them both tuned at the same time

I would do it. What can happen is that after long periods of high boost runs, the stock fuel pump can start to overheat and supply inconsistent fuel pressure. Shiv from Vishnu posted a thread about this a while back I believe. He noticed that after several runs on the dyno, some evos with the stock fuel pump would have a brief drop in fuel pressure. If I remember correctly some of these cars had only a cat back and Xede. I installed my Walbro when I upgraded my exhaust, just to be on the safe side. If I were you, I would definitely install one with the cams.

The stock EVO fuel pump is good for up to 400HP crank.

If the cams are your biggest modification, you don't need the pump. Even with our 269 Power Cams we don't recommend a fuel pump although we'd love to sell you one.

The downside to using a "High Pressure" larger fuel pump is that it often overpowers the stock Fuel Pressure Regulator at idle and part throttle cruise where you'll see fuel pressures significantly higher than factory specifications.

If you are running a piggyback, it may appear that a larger fuel pump is necessary to mask the problem of the fuel pump circuit seeing artificially low voltage due to the factory ECU not knowing it's in 'high load' and not bypassing the fuel pump resistor.

Thanks

My only mods are HKS downpipe with HKS Hi Power cat back and i still have the stock cat.
