Most of are familiar with the 264/272 combo that alot of eclipse/talon guys used back in the day to gain a good amount of power but still retain a decent idle. Some of us (such as myself) do not care about a lumpy idle and prefer to go with 272/272. I like that kick in the *** feeling from 272/272's.

With the new 280 cam out I wonder if a 272 intake/280 exhaust combo would do any good. Or at that point is it a waste of time you mine as well go with 280/280 cuz your gonna have a ****ty idle anyway. I (along with most others on the quest for as much power reliably as possible) do not care about a lopey idle, I just dont want my car stalling every time i come to a light. I dont want to have to tap the gas as I had to in my talon with 272/272. between the fidanza flywheel, 60-1 and 272/272 my talon would stall all the time, very annoying. i still want to be able to take my evo out to dinner with my girlfriend without stalling up and down the street. if anyone has any input please share. thanks in advance
