Read the threads buddy. Many people have tried to make this thing crack with no success. But hey whatever you do what you want.

The evo's in Japan and Europe come with a stock anti-lag setup. No injectors just 2 hard pipes that seem to run from the exhaust manifold back into the engine ( i think one goes to the intake). Anyway its not a Rally Anti lag but it is a anti lag either way.

Can "Anti-lag" easily be setup on a US spec Evo? Or will you have idle or other driveability problems?

Actually, of all things it is not an anti lag system unfortunately... On a street car it is only an EGR ( exhaust gas recirculation) for cleaner emmisions purposes.. THe valve on idle gets vacuum and allows some of the exhaust gas to be drawn back into the upper intercooler pipe.. On boost the valve shuts so none of the gas is drawn in... However, according to Ralliart in conjunction with a Ralliart Ecu, is able to use that as an anti lag system on rally cars only..
I always thought it was running like an anti lag in these cars but sadly its not.... AM considering removing it due to the heat generated into intake during idling.. Someone correct me if it is cause I'll be glad to know that it is an anti lag system..

I installed one of these "cheap" manifolds from ebay and lost boost and power over the stock setup. The tubing they use is smaller cross sectional area than your exhaust port and the collector is huge in comparison and that transition isn't good for flow. The transition of the tubing to the head flange is very small compared to the exhaust port. I spent some time with a die grinder to blend the inlet transition and the heat and vibration from the die grinder cracked one of the tubes. A waste of time and money for me.
