I'm not sure if they're CARB legal, but they're definately within decible limits. One of the quietest exhausts for the EVO.

I can vouche for the decible level being below the 90dB. Its one of the quietest exhausts out yet has a smooth rumble. A couple of the loudest Ive heard are the buscher, blitz, and perrin. As far as carb, I did not recieve any carb number with the package as I usually do when I buy stuff for my camaro.

Even though its quiet, it looks aftermarket due to the angle and the size of the muffler tip; whereas other mufflers tuck nicely in the hole of the bumper exhaust cut- out. I give a thumbs up to HKS Hi-Power

The HKS Hi-per sound seems ok on my Evo, no problems with noise and cops in my area.

The HKS Hi Power is a good exhaust, you will like the sound. However, if you add a testpipe, and cams, and an aftermarket turbo, the exhaust gets loud very quick.

A customer has his exhaust laying here at the shop... it's a HKS Hi Power with the reducer cut off, and a 3" piece welded on. He's selling it. PM me if interested.
