Id imagine it may **** up the Transfer case and your diffs. I dont own an Evo but i dont think its the same thing as push button 4x4.

Your drive axels were designed to split engine power across all four wheels....send all that power to the front only, (aside from the center diff damage) and you risk damage to a drive axel and c/v joint.

You cn do it with doing something with a viscs coupler (sp) because im going to dyno my evo on a mustang dyno and they have to covert it to fwd and they said it wont lose any power just transer it all the front wheels. But to go out and drive around i dont think we would get much traction cruzin arond fwd

If the front differential has trouble putting half of the evo's power to the ground what is going to happen if it is tasked with putting all the power to the ground?

Uh, no....its designed to work with all 4 wheels. Its just like having an open differential on a truck, and having one wheel off the ground, it'll spin and spin till it touches the ground again. Why the hell did you take the driveshafit off, fun?
