Only thing changed from the two runs was the addition of the cams. NOTHING else, both runs were made the at the same boost level. I was very impressed at the 30 hp and 30 tq gains across the whole rpm range.

I will be dyno testing the HKS 280's that we got in over the weekend tomorrow on our shop evo here as well and post the graph of them too.
Yeah...could you list the mods your running. I've been waiting for a dyno sheet like this to give myself a idea of what my car is making. Was this on 93 octane?

Mods are: HKS rs intake, HKS dp, HKS cat back, HKS 264's, Perrin test pipe, Walbro 255, mbc set at 20-21, and a custom DynoFlash.

Your dyno is impressive, but unless you have another one with stock cams or 264s (on the same car/dyno/level of tune), it doesn't prove anything about the benefit of 272s over 264s. Also, why does your graph say "uncorrected"?

Nice results. That's what I've been waiting to see. Any cam gears or tune for the 264's or is this just putting them in and then dyno with no tune?

If my graph was "Corrected" it would have shown MORE WHP.

Example...

If you dyno a car in Colorado, you will be down about 20% WHP because there is much less air, it's the land of a 13 second Z06. So you would "CORRECT" those numbers to reflect what it would show at optimal temp and at Sea Level. I am at Sea Level, it was warm and humid that day, if I corrected them, it would have increases the WHP showing, I chose not to. All corrected means is that the power levels are then modified to show what would happen if the BEST conditions were present, which they were not. At best it is an educated guess, I just wanted real numbers, which are shown there.

Before the 272 cams, I had a VERY similar power curve to the other one posted here, I believe I made 302WHP. I credit my HKS RS Intake and VERY VERY read (VERY) good tuning. With my 300WHP I ran like a 12.8 (Stock Clutch, mild 1.8 60 Foot) and a more telling trap of 108MPH. As for my new power curve, I am hoping for atleast 114MPH, and the way teh car has been running lately in this cold weather, I bet I can do it.

Lets see here, first the cams were installed on the factory gears, I have played around with camgears on the hks 264's to gain little or nothing. So I leave them at 0-0. His mods are 3"turbo back exhaust, helix o2 housing, hks rs suction, upper intercooler piping, MR bov, Dynoflash through the mail base flash, Emanage.

Also I tuned this car before the cams were installed with the emanage and then again after the cams were installed which is why the afr looks the same. Boost was set at 21psi for both runs tappering to around 19psi at redline.

I too can not wait to install the 280's in the shop evo and get it on the dyno, graphs of these cams will be posted tomorrow hope fully.

yes you did but the other one who posted the 272's only put the graph with the cams in. No before and after.

I liked you graph, thats what i've been looking for. any comment on how you think the 264/272 combo would perform compared to just a strai 264 combo, as far as power?

Not sure on the 264/272 cams as I have never dyno'd a set back to back from the stock cams. I am installing the 280's now thought and going to be dyno'ing them to see how much is gained over the hks 264's.

probably be a number inbetween then lol. I would have the dyno graph but i'm installing the hks rs intake also along with it. so i could take off like 10whp and thats probably the gain.

I am looking forward to see the results of this comparison

BTW, what octane were you using? Sorry if I missed that from an earlier post
