I think we all should get an Oil catch can.

Well I was bored and noticed that the hose coming from the valve cover to the intake pipe was getting kinda dark( I have a see through hose). So I took off the intake pipe and this is what I saw:

Since oil and grease tends to attract dirt I guess I better find a way to mount my Greddy catch can some how.

Can't believe that there was that much oil. I don't really drive the car hard so I figured I didn't need a oil catch can. Guess I was wrong. Oh ya I have a Canon S40.

terrible, how many miles you have on your car? Not break it in well?

I have 30k, and get practically 0 blow-by. Each time I take off my intake pipe its dry as the outside.

I have around 15k on the car. Maybe since I have the Works P2 (which holds boost at 20psi) might be the reason, not sure though.

if you look under where your stock intake box was where the stock boost control solenoid is, i used one of those stock 12mm bolts that goes on that brass colored bracket and mounted my catch can right there where the stock solenoid goes. perfect fit. sorry but no pics of it. had it there for a while. if i get around to it i'll try and shoot some this weekend.

yes get one. it allows that blow by oil go into the catch can rather than back into the inlet on the turbo eventually getting oil in your intercooler pipes and intercooler making it less efficient.

It's a RMR intake pipe. A friend told me that it might not have came all from the breather hose. He said since I have a drop in K&N filter, it could have suck some of the oil from the filter since we have force induction plus the breather. What do you guys think.

The oil is from the breather hose. It happens on all turbo cars.
