Indentify this broken part for me.

Question Indentify this broken part for me.

This is off and EVO. What part is it? I know its from the tranny/tansfer case.
The next question is where can I can get a beefier one?

That is the halfshaft that goes inside the trans/transfer case. How the hell did you break it?? I would assume something else is broke as well considering it is inside the trans and it would take ALOT of force to snap it.

Its not mine, and i never asked how he broke it. But i know that it isn't stock. Is the long one a half shaft too?

Yes.. I think the passenger side is longer.

Damn. You might be able to have it cryo treated. DSMers have been doing that with stock connecting rods for years. I'm not 100% sure it could be done to a halfshaft. GL

That is the passengers side inside axle shaft. Usually it never comes out for anything since its inside the t-case. PM, Im pretty sure I have one thats almost new (4k miles).
