Evo V with EVO VI engine?

Can a 4G63 out of an EVO VI be put into an EVO V??
Would i also need to swap in the Transaxle from the VI or will the V's transaxle work???

Yes, but why? They're pretty much the same engine. You can swap the piston (VI's are stronger) and some other components, but you don't nee to put the entire engine in....

its the other way around, Evo VI engine into Evo V.

I can get the engine set (engine, tranny, ecu, harness etc.) for 2,000 USD, i will be building the Evo VI engine for racing purpose, then i was going to put it into my V..
what problems will i have? is the engine harness the same or no? can i still use my Evo V's ECU??

you will not have any problems, We actually put E7 engine into E5 and everyting is pretty much the same. The cams and the turbo ont he 7 is little different from the 5.
