That writeup isn't as good as the evomoto one. I'm looking for a copy of the evomoto one too. Even just the text would be nice.
When doing a cam install, would it better to remove one gear, change that cam, reinstall gear and only then remove the other gear and do the other cam?
I'm not sure why the writeups show both gears off at the same time. Seems like the belt would be less likely to jump a tooth if you only remove one gear at a time.
Comments??

Hey guys, I've got that EVOMoto cam install guide saved on my computer in pdf format if anyone wants it. Just pm me or post your email and I'll get it to ya asap. It's a good write up, so I'd be glad to pass it along to anyone that needs it.

after watchin the turbotrix guys do it, i think they can swap cams faster than i can wash a car.
but if you're slow and safe, then it'll take longer..... they'd obviously done it a time or two before

...I can do this install in my sleep now. It is really critical that after you install the cams, once you loosen the tension on the timing belt that you make sure your belt is timed correctly. I've seen over zealous people in the past bend valves when rotating the crank.

i just finished the install actually, and the streetracing.org instructions are worthless...i think we refered to them twice to see what size wrench we needed. There are soo many little things that it doesnt go over...Just to make sure we did this right it took us all day for the most part. Finally done, cams are great but i think i may be hitting fuel cut at WOT because i am tune-less. im gonna be flashing the ecu soon..
Anyway, use the Evomoto install guide, im sure its much better. We tried keeping good tension on the belt, but i think we skipped a tooth or so at the bottom. At first the timing was off, so when we did the hand rotation we kept hearing a "tink" when we hit valves....no good, so we had to do everything over, check TDC marks on the belt way down below the cam gears....what a b i t c h! lol Thanks to Puckadog (Rocky) for helping me out, couldn't have done it without him.
