ACT street disc is on back order

I spent all morning searching the threads for the right clutch and the right price. I decided to go with the ACT street disc clutch kit. After getting the price I wanted I found out that all street discs were on back order. I found on at nolimit motors they were great and very helpful. So I got what I wanted for a good price. I did not get a aftermarket flywheel just dont have the money. (should I?)

Now my next step is to get it installed. What is the avarge price? I live in maryland and the cheapest I found was $640 plus fluids. is that the going rate?? The dealer told me $736.00

If you had yours done list the price.

Im having the same clutch intalled today along with the trans and diff sevice done. I found a guy who used to work at AMS in Arlington Hights Il. He opened his own shop a year and a half ago in Lake Barrington Il. (Called DEVOTuning) and is doing everything for $410. including all the fluids. By the way my Mitsu dealer in Libertyville Il. wanted $1050. to install the clutch only so I guess $750. from a dealer isnt that bad. His name is Adam and his number is 847-219-0029 He is a great guy and he also waited until 11:00 last night so he could park my car inside rather than outside.

I am sorry that our EVO clutches are on backorder. It's actually the pressure plates we are behind on. We finally got a recent shipment of clutches that should get us out of trouble once we perform our magic to them which takes about 3-4 weeks. Thanks for choosing ACT!

Careful what you say. That's what puts bread on the table for both of us.

Seriously though Matt, you guys have done a great job taking care of us with the transition at Exedy. I know that our needs are a little unique as a customer and you have responded graciously. Tell everyone thanks for me!! Oh, and send me more parts!
