Would anyone be interested in a shift lever extension?

This piece would really benefit those of you with a short shift kit that dropped the knob down too low. It would raise the knob back up, reduce the effort it takes to get in/out of gear and generally make the shifter feel better. All while having a shorter throw than stock

Plus, it will be pretty cheap too :-)

So, if anyone wants there shifter to be EASIER to use, let me know!

Why not keep the same shifter or a shorter one and add a heavy shift knob? It gives leverage just the same but you don't have to move a longer distance to acheive the same result.

not to jack the thread, but the bg was more like stock for me. I know the GM and Penzoil are the same.

Short throw + Counterweighted Shift knob = The best set up for fast shifting. If you want to shift easier then I guess you can raise it.

I've tried a heavier knob, and though it vastly improved the shifters feel, this extension makes it feel even better.
