AEM Intake and Turbosmart BOV

I just installed my AEM intake and turbosmart dual port bov (universal...not the new evo 8 specific) I have two questions.

1. I get alot of flutter with the bov, i just need to know does that mean the spring is too hard? or too soft?
2. When installing the intake i lost the tiny black vacuum conncetor so i had to go to the hardware store and get one that closely matched, unfortunatly it was too small so i just managed to shove that vacuum(boost?) line into the intake where the hole is for it and its pretty snug in there....if air is escaping is that causing a boost leak? Also does anyone know where i can get that small vacuum connector that came with the intake? ( sorry i dont have a picture of it..someone with the aem intake will know what im talking about.)

Thanks in advance.
