are u referring to AEM EMS or any EMS whether it be stand alone like AEM or a piggy back like UTEC or Xede?

If it's a piggy back then no it won't. i don't know about a stand alone like an AEM EMS

A standalone will rid you of the code forever.

That's because it removes the stock ECU and all of its diagnostics capabilities. Kinda like hacking off your leg to fix that tingling in your foot when it falls asleep.

Kind of, but after hacking it off you put a new one on that gives you a lot more options and can work much better (with the right tuner).

I don't have an actual fix for it, though I have spent a good deal of time over the past year looking into it. I was replying to the suggestion that the AEM EMS "fixes" the problem in much the same way that disconnecting the indicator light does.

If I can narrow down the problem some more on my car, I may be able to offer some kind of actual fix in my ECU+ product.

replacing the sparkplug wires with some 8.5mm Magnecor ones fixed my P0300 problem.
