ACT Installed Today By RRE
Let me first start off by saying That Road//Race Engineering was the greatest experience with a shop I have ever had , great people with honest answers and even better workmanship. I thank them kindly for getting to My car in the time they did. They understood my clutch was dead and was causing me problems with transportation around town and and made it a point to get me back on the street , I can not stress how important they made me feel while dealing with them!
Second , The ACT clutch .
I talked to dirk directly VIA Emails and he is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever talked to his ability to answer my questions without "selling" me anything spoke volumes about his level of integrity and about the products he represents.
I can not begin to explain how much more solid the car feels and how less sloppy the clutch engagement is now since having it installed. I highly recommend this clutch to anyone you cannot beat this clutch for the money, in total I spent 530 for the ACT clutch and 500 for labor at RRE, well worth every penny in my opinion.
oh and the pedal feel is slightly heavier than stock but like I said in an earleir post , few swings of the bat and your right back to where you were. I hear people whining like babies over clutch feel and all I can think to myself is that they must have bought something other than an ACT because it really isnt much different
these are all my opinions and I highly recommend these 2 great companies to anyone, you wont be dissappointed

I've done the same thing, got ACT installed at RRE, night and day difference. Plus RRE rocks! Clutch pedal is heavier, but nothing like the act2600 on a DSM. You get used to it really fast, after month or two, I can't even tell a difference. One thing that was weird, I launched the car for the first time last week, I kinda slipped the clutch hard at around 6000rpm, it launched great, but I still smelt burned clutch smell. Do any of you guys that launch with aftermarket clutches still smell it burning?
