2003 EVO Transmission common Transmission Problem?
Hi Everyone,
I heard from people telling me that the 2003 EVO has common transmission (or cluch) problems. Since I just have a 03 EVO with 6500 mileages and already has a transmission problems. When you switch to fifth gear, it has a loud "click" noise. I bought it back to the dealer. They said no problem. After a week, i took the car back again and have the technician to sit next to me and show him on the freeway. Noise still occurred. They remove everything from the engine parts and troubleshooting.
QUESTIONS:
1.) Has anyone has silmilar transmission or cluth problems?
2.) Is this only happen to the year 2003, since Mitsubishi were in a rush to come up the car in a hurry without really testing it with enough time?
3.) Do you think the cluth is bad too? If that, oh no! Very expensive (Does the dealer going to warrantee it?
3.) If the dealership going to replace the transmission? Are they going to replace the cluth too? (in other words, is the cluth a warranty item?)
Any detail feedback or help will really help out here! Thanks Everyone!!
