having problem with my car.. please help

well i got my gt35r turbo kit from rnr, anyways i have the aem ems, and i was street tuned in the rain and pretty cold weather.. whenever i drive the car for like a hour during the day, when i try to hit boost, the car keeps hesitating and keeps backfireing like im hitting fuel cut, the car keeps jerking, but it seems at night time it runs fine, i have to wait til wed to get it dyno tuned, and checked, but does anyone know what it might be? is it the aem acting up?

it sounds like ur hitting fuel cut for a couple reasons.....

one you said that you street tuned it.

two do you have upgraded injectors?

three do you have a upgraded fuel pump?

get a correct fuel map on a dyno and you should have no problems.

What are your AFR's? Is the car seeing knock causing it to pull timing and add fuel? Have you checked your spark plugs or tried changing them? There are many causes for the symptoms your describing but I would check the plugs and tuning first.

when u have a setup like yours dyno tuning is the only way, i had the ems on my turbo integra it was a nightmare to tune even with a dyno, the ems is very good for power gain but no so good for daily driving.
good luck
