Yeah, the exhuast side of the turbo is often refered to as the "hotside". Wonder if its because it gets glowing so red it becomes translucent??

 

haha yeah i remember a while ago on these boards there was a turbo pic on a skyline i believe. was all red and orange. good stuff. by the bye guys that 800 i heard of previously for the housing and labor was not a quote from AMS. just something i came across on the boards a while ago. dont even remember where it was from to tell you the truth. just a number somebody paid to buy this baby and have it installed. i really want to do this still, but im going to have to save up some money i think. we need a group buy/install day on this thing. 300 is not a bad price for some decent power gains.

 

Where can I buy the hotside piece? Thinking of getting a local shop to install for me before I get it tuned.

230 bux is not bad. but waiting for it to come in is gRRRRR.. took about a month. not all that bad.

 

this is the hotside off the TME turbo correct? isnt the MR turbo better?
