are you suppose to use your stock flywheel with the ACT clutch?

Mine is a little harder to push in than the stock one was. It's very weird I have felt ^ evo81's and he was way harder to push in compared to mine. I did install a flywheel and he didn't, but I don't think that would effect it

Mine is a little harder, not really that noticable though. It's not like the act applications for dsms or hondas for sure.

Same as everyone else. Just a little stiffer than stock. You will not notice it after a few weeks.

Oh yea, you should go to the gym and work out only on your right quad. That way your legs will stay at the same thickness. That is only if you are worried about your leg looks.

A friend of mine had one on his dsm and it was much much harder.

One the EVO it is not that noticable. On the DSM we are achieving a much greater increase and the system is not as efficient as the EVO because the DSM is a push type, not pull type. We could keep the pedal effort stock but then we would have to sacrifice performance or clutch life. It is actually much easier to acheive since we wouldn't have to change the diahpragm spring. IMO I would rather have the slightly stiffer pedal.

why is it that double clutch have a lighter feel? I sat in a Evo with HKS clutch and it felt really easy to press down. I like how it felt

the way the discs are sprung makes it easier...

Clutch torque capacity is determined by four factors: clutch size, number of surfaces, coefficient of friction and clamp load. With a twin disc you double the torque capacity if everything else remains the same. Usually the twin such as the Exedy also has a higher friction which also increases torque capacity. Since you really don't need over twice the torque capacity in most cases, you can downsize on the disc size for reduced inertia, and you can lighten up on the clamp load (lighter pedal) and still have a generous increase in torque capacity. Just like anything else there are also some tradeoffs, but that's another topic.
