Blow Off Valve
greddy type-s with single spring mod routed back into the intake.....best BOV i have used to date. It works perfect. No fluttlering, no hesitation or jerking on the highway....and it holds boost and sounds great
have used type S greddy, very nice bov esp single spring modded... forge VTA bov, i dont like it, flutters and bogs if use hard spring, if use lighter spring, nice idle and spray, but doesnt hold boost. sorry forge...didnt win me over. Right now im deciding between back to HKS SSQ, Type S, or APS twin vent.
greddy type s single spring mod. works great and is almost as loud as VTA if you have a intake or cone filter. the more you tighten the spring down, the higher pitched it gets. Holds boost and not fluttering.
Me and a few others have problems with the MR valve. after switching from the MR vavle to the Forge valve to the HKS valve to finally the APS, all i can say is i should have bought an APS from the beginning.
MR valve = stalling
Forge = flutter and bucking (even with spring and shim kit)
HKS = horrible noise
APS is awesome.
