I'm pretty sure I could make a full 3" Ti TBE, but it would be loud as heck. I'd need some expertise on how to quiet it down.

that's the problem with ti you can make it thin to save the weight... but it's loud... so you'd have to either wrap the whole exhaust or at least the dp with exhaust wrap and then maybe have some resonators....

ti catbacks are readily avail... not worth it to reinvent the wheel here since they crank out tons of them and that keeps the cost down... fabbing yer own outta ti would break your bank. the dp tho... no one offers (with the exception of i believe mines which makes a "torque friendly" not as spool friendly 2.76" version or something odd like that.

dp would be a GREAT piece... but yeah you'd have to wrap it to quite at LEAST that part down... but that's not at all a loss... people wrap their stainless ones just for the benefit... so hey... why not get the weight savings too yah know? most of the noise also comes from the catback i think... dunno how much comes from adding a dp or how much more with a ti dp.

i would suggest making it clear the stock tie bars... a helix like unit... the more straight through designs are just too difficult to accomodate for too many people.
