There is a video clip on a dyno with an evo that has the HKS in the tread here. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...7959&highlight You can hear it quite well in the video.

lol, you will still have issues. Loudest valve by far is either hks or turboXS RFL. If you have never ran VTA on your evo you will soon see all the problems unless you have standalone. It may idle fine but dont think that the eids will help that much. If they worked so good, why can you search and find at least 50 VTA bovs and 10 eids for sale. I already wasted tons of money trying to get bov to run great and it just didnt work for me. Some people say they dont have any trouble but I guess thats how much you like the smoothness of your car. I would recommend an intake and greddy typeS with single spring mod. It runs better than factory and is able to be heard. HKS and RFL will get on your nerves in a week or less. They are both sooo loud even at 5 psi.

hks sounds like a dieing quail... or like when you step on a rat when it dies... some type of squeeking noise... i had it on my car...

greddy type RS is kinda loud... i had that VTA... sounded like a crack of the whip... "whappssssshhhhhh"

nothing beats stock with stock intake box though... silence... lol
