Buschur Turbo-B VS Helix Turbo-B

Im considering trading or selling my Buschur racing turboback with test pipe (Unused, still wrapped with all hardware and clamps) for a helix. I love the BR pipe, but the design of the muffle doesn't allow a silencer to be used, and the cops in my area have already pulled me over and checked for a cat because the noise generated by the turbo, BOV and intake are already too loud, so I need something that CAN be the loudest (like the BR), but I can also bolt in a silencer. Any opinions? PM if potentially interested in the exhaust, however my mind is NOT made up yet.

Sell the Buschur it's really really loud. Almost to loud. Helix is a great set up.

I have the BR exhaust with high-flow cat and Magnaflow muffler. It's not loud at all unless I'm at WOT. All of the Hondas with upgraded exhausts around here are much much louder than me. /shrug

Helix was second on my list when I considered exhaust, but BR has the straightest setup. In the end the difference is probably very minor though... so to each his own... good luck!

I have the Buschur w/ Magnaflow (Catless) and its not at all loud under normal driving conditions. Once WOT, it does make some noise

Both exhaust systems are very straight.. all 3" design. The reason I went with Helix because they are a bit quieter compare with the Buschur unit.

I figure the silencer is a big deal also. As much as I like Dave's stuff, I feel the Helix suits me better.

I plan on buying a turbo back exhaust next week. I really like the sound of the buschur w/ magnaflow, Ultimate racing, and now that yall say that the helix is pretty quite under normal driving. I might consider it. where or who has the best deal on the helix. I'm gonna run a cat delete and when emission time comes around I'll buy a highflow cat and put it on there. is there any videos of the helix or the BR while driving. I don't really like the videos of the cars just free revving. thanks for the help.

Does Buschur sell a magnaflow that you can swap yours to to quiet things down?

I asked either evodave or BR about switching out the BR muffler for the magnaflow and the response I got was that it's easy to do. BR uses a slip fit design so you pretty much just slide it on. I think BR wanted $225 for the magnaflow though, which I couldn't justify spending before I even heard the exhaust. It didn't make much sense to me either b/c their system w/ the magnaflow is only $20 more than the same system with their muffler. Once I put it on I will see. BTW if anyone has a magnaflow muffler for sale PM me- I would be very interested.

Call Dave. He'll sell you just the Magnaflow. It'll be a bolt on swap for the BR muffler.
