Is this a dumb idea?

Would it be a dumb idea to run a t fitting in the return line to drain fuel when preparing to change between ecu maps? Just take a hose off the t when you want to drain the fuel?

I'd think it'd be an alright idea since many of us are weekend racers, where driving till the tank is almost empty may not be a realistic option.

The other advantage is that you could run more aggressive maps since you'd have less mixing going on.

Am I or is this an OK idea?

Tho, now that I think of it, I guess you could always just pull the return line, vs having a t fitting... hmm
