Question Vishnu diffuser qns

Has anyone fixed this on their cars before?

http://www.vishnutuning.com/evo_diffuser.htm

Any pix to share? And short of wind-tunnel testing, does yr butt feel any increase in stability/down-force at high speeds?

Last qn: can it fit JDM spec E8 please? Thanks for reading.

Looks like a nice piece. But I wonder if it would fit with other types of after market exhausts.

I would say it probably wouldn't fit a JDM Evo since the rear bumpers are different, but I don't by any means know this for a fact. You can get in touch with someone at Vishnu or try the Vishnu forum here for a response from them.

Astro,
Have you noticed a difference at 200mph?

Seriously, any improvement?

He only had to make modifications because he is using one of those jdm angle-exit exhausts. the diffuser was originally only made to work to fit the vishnu's exhaust and some others [ones that are straight exit]. i'll take pics of mine sometime. and no this piece certainly does not work with the jdm/euro rear bumpers. someone on the boards already tried but didn't go through as the extent of the modifications was way too much.

All the blot points are off. The JDM bumper is a different shape altogether... The tray would require some serious trimming to make it fit. I wish it woul dhave worked too... damn nice piece.

this has been the best Aero mod i have made yet!

As far as modification... i had to dremel a little bit out around the exhaust.... no big deal!..

search for posts by MattGold .

I believe he got the JDM bumper for his USDM EVO and had to sell the Vishnu undertray diffuser as it did not fit the JDM bumper. If you want to be 100% sure then give the Vishnu guys a call or post in that forum.

Back from the dead....kinda. ASTROEVO, do you have any pics of that diffuser from a little further away? I'd like to see what it looks like overall from the rear (like a pic with the entire rear in it)
