its still boost, but not enough to beat stock. i can notice a big drop in hp at higher RPMs.

now, i have checked the intercooler and surrounding areas for leaks, and loose points in the new I/C hose, and its installed correctly. no leaks.

however i did install a 3'DP and hi flow cat, and where the H/F cat flange bolts to the stock cat back section, there is an exhaust leak. this shouldn't effect the Psi going on before the combustion chambers, could it? it's a very small leak tho. not an ex-pornstar gaping hole.
The only real well to tell you have a boost leak is to do a boost leak test. If you know now to do it great, if not, take it back to the guy who installed the intercooler and he should know how to do it for you. A simple vacuum line can cause a boost leak.
About you exhaust leak, that wont' cause you to lose boost, thats on the exhaust side, not the compressed air side.

IOEvo, I wasn't aware that you are here in Salem now. If you want I will give you a name of a shop next to my work that has done all the work on my car. They are pretty cheap labor wise. I will even go over there and figure out your boost problem. Send me a PM if you are interested. We could probably get it all fix for around $100 in labor.

Bigger is not always better. Especially with a stock turbo.

When i got my IC and piping from Buschur last winter, it had over 20 boost leaks on it and I drove 90 mins to AMS without being able to go over 60mph. Luckily, AMS knows their **** and fixed the entire thing, but at a great cost to me.
