I ordered a set of rallyart plug wires and the v3 version of the Xede. I will try that first and see what happens.

Mitsu ordered me a new ECM, under warranty (41k on car, they say ECM good to 80k). I'll see if that corrects P0300.

I'm willing to bet it's the wires. You probably broke the seal on the spark wire on the #3 cylinder and when the engine is under load and the spark is hotter, it probably arcs to the crankcase therefore nullifying the #3 cylinder.

Can't accelerate in 5th gear? AH, I know the problem. Apparently, you bought a Lancer, not an Evo and have been confused this whole time. You can post a It sucks to not be able to accelerate in 5th gear in the lancer forums and get much sympathy. Sorry to point this out to you

hmmm... lancer? I'm not talking about your car bro. But anyways, did anyone find a fix for this P0300 error crap, which happens while cruising on 5th gear? and under light throttle. The car will suddenly feels like it's limping. Once I let off the accelerator then reapply the gas pedal... it went away. But soon, it will come back again.

Seems like a lot of people are having this issue but there is no solution.

help anyone???? My car has been reflashed a few times by mitsu, but it still didn't fix the p0300 problems.

Really?
