Please take the poll if your car has the p0300 code and post the year of your car. I'm wondering if late model evo's are still affected by this problem. If they are not then maybe we need to purchase their ECU or revised sensors?

from what I've read they seem to be having the problems also just most people with the 05's and such just haven't hit enough miles for a lot of them to start getting the code... it seems to start around 5,000 miles minimum. <----- my $.02

 

Psssst...the Evo VIII's first production year was 2003...

 

Mine started after the transmission was replaced @ 2,000 for synchro problems. Its beenn off and on with the code.

 

Yes, you are correct but I wanted to involve any Evo 7's to see if they had any similar problems.

Sorry guy's, What does that code mean. How do you know if the car throws one?

 

I have an 03' that throws the code once in a while. Seemed like it was related to my cams or re-flash but i heard others are having the problem while stock.
