keep 'em coming guys/gals.
i still can't decide from either of these.
i know, or have heard, that you have to change the filter for the HKS racing suction intake every 3000 miles.
how about for the ARC induction box, do you need to change the filters, or can you just clean them?
also, for people with any of these set-ups, did you notice any power gains and was there any driveability issues?

the arc just allows quicker airflow than stock
meaning quicker throttle response
/ but not as quick as the hks rs

Looking to purchase the ARC setup and was curious as to what type of filter element it is?
Does anyone have the ARC installed yet? how are the gains and any problems with the computer after install?

HKS foam filter only good for blocking small dogs from entering your intake.
I run MAFless however I will not be going to a cone filter - I think they suck up too much ambient heat. And I live in a very hot climate. I will be retaining the stock airbox, putting a K&N panel filter in it and running a hard pipe straight from the bottom of the box to the turbo.
Im very happy to retain the stock ram air effect which must be considerable at 100mph. Just try sticking your hand out the window. I think aftermarket airboxes are for bling and have no practical value.

Dyno tests have shown considerable improvement with aftermarket intake over the stock intake.
100mph may be better for stock intake, may not, there is no evidence. Doesn't matter to me, as I rarely see over 100mph anyway.
