Mods: AMS Stage 3

The only thing I dont have is the o2 housing and HKS cam gears. Do you guys think that'll make a difference. I'm expecting to gain like 5whp, with ams tuning. What do you guys think is it worth the extra mods? extra time? and extra money? Need your help!

Another thing that was bothering me is injen intake really that bad with all the mods that I have. I've heard good things and bad things about the intake. Just wanted to hear your input. Thanks for your help

i personally dont think you need cam gears unless you have 280's and the 02 housing is a great mod if your going stock turbo if your going to upgrade i wouldent get it jusy my 02 =)

02 housing, i've heard isn't worth that much of hp. sometimes you loose some power with stock turbo and internal.

do some search, most people think it's waste of money.

 

Your better off getting a hotside for your turbo than an o2 housing.

only do it if u plan to keep the stocker and wont a lil better spool and are willing to fork over the money for a very slight gain....... if you plan to upgrade u will do one then.... as for tuning i really dont think u would need a tune for a 02housing

If your going to do the o2 housing, do the 10.5 hotside too. There tons of threads on this, should gain alittle power from it and a much better spool.

uhm... with the o2 nad the 10.5 i think bolt on you will see gains but especially for the 10.5 housing you'll see more gains in tuning because the reduced back pressure lets you tune more outta the motor safely.

so actually anything that reduces back pressure... the same thing applies... that's not to say that you won't get anything from just puttin' it on though... you'll just get more hwen they fiddle.
