Finally got a chance to install.....(sorry 56k-ers)

...my HKS 2.55" DP and 30th Ann. Catback.....both came this week (took 2 weeks for delivery, but well worth the wait).... Thanks to great prices from Kyle at RevHigh $329 shipped for DP and $619 shipped for catback....

....I was gonna hold of on purchasing...but those prices threw me a curve..and well...here we are....

...enjoy....sorry...so big...I'm still learning to how to shrink attachments....

dp....fresh out of the box....

dp flange....

exhaust ready for install....

....new dp.....old dp.....

...dp installed.....

exhaust installed.............

...final pic.....

Power delivery VERY noticeable on the low end....boost comes in sooner and harder. It's true what they say about a 2.50" dp...torque is crazy......i do feel a little more power on the high as well...maybe because the system finishes off at 2.95".

Either way...my *** is loving it.....hopefully get her dyno'd to see where I'm at on power....

I am planning on getting this exhaust from Revhigh online as well. Everyone seems pleased with it. It's still a bit pricey but I think it is worth it for the fit and finish. You said it sounds almost like the stock exhaust though? Wow that is really quiet. I don't want one annoyingly loud but I do want to hear it. I will probably still get it though, and once I get my 3" dp and test pipe I'm sure it will sound great.

yeah man....you won't be disappointed.....it's a nice tone....I was like researching forever to find the right combo..

In the end I decided on this set. Pricey...but Revhigh was the cheapest I found on both parts.....

good luck....

Wait till you throw a test pipe and cams on the car. Good choice going with HKS.

yeah...I read a couple of ur other threads....I used to have a N/A '99 Prelude...but when I modded it...power wise, it was hard to tell when there was a power increase....

.....I'm finding out real quick how much of a difference a little here and there will do to a turbo'd car.....and it's getting addicting....

Yeah I've seen them too.......it is too good to be true. It seems the labelin' on their site is incorrect...they say 30th anniversary, but show the regular 'coated' one...I've checked them out before. If you click on it, it'll show a drop-down menu that shows that you add another '$111.00 for the 30th Ann. Edition.....

But since I live in Cali, I usually don't purchase larger items within my own state due to the sales tax.

I go out of state, and most places have free shipping for large items....
