THis isn't an RnR kit and I know tunning is the key but it will answer some questions.

Rode in Deceit's car before he traded it. A little laggier than stock turbo, but it was a 420whp monster. Great kits.

Yeah I think I am going to get this kit soon, just need to find out how well it does on a dynoflash? If I have to go with other engine management I might wait.

Good luck with the kit..The more time that goes on the more i regret getting an RNR kit.. I wish i would have known full race was making one, or just got an AMS..

Ryan, again i sent another pm today with no answer.. I wouldn't mind getting that DP now, i think i have had enough of the one that is hitting my oil pan.. Thanks

It is a NONE BB unit and a cheaper Manifold, saves you $1000 for those reasons. it makes power, but I would rather have have a BB unit.

i have a external dump ...i bet a couple hundred rpm's with the equal length i will pm you my #'s when i dyno or even if i get to the track first.

well if you are speaking in terms of bigger turbos, a 50trim will probably be your best bet if you dont want that much lag. My friend had one on his talon and got 25psi by 4200, which isnt too bad and is pretty easy to drive on the street actually.

the 50trim spools up like a gt35r (if not a little slower)....that is with non-equal length manifold vw. gt35r with equal length. Addionally it did make 429awhp on 93 pump gas tuned pretty aggresively. I would recommend a equal length manifold with a gt3037....its the nicest fastest spooling (way faster than a 50trim) setup you can buy for a evo that you don't plan on making over 500awhp with. It spools full boost by 3800-4000rpms and will sustain 28psi and 500awhp on 93 oct with alky injection or with race fuel and still net you 400-430awhp on 93 octane with just a dynoflash....one sick setup and will put you to the max of most of your components unless rebuilt or removed/replaced (ie. stock maf, throttle body, intake manifold , head (before you should do headwork) , and stock rods and pistons). I did 123 mph trap speeds on only 25psi with pump gas 93 octane dynoflash tune (so no advancing timing for race gas ) and essentially letting the race gas run me super rich to 10.4-10.7:1 a/f . I was so happy running 11.5's at 121-123mph all the time without breaking anything i left it like that for a long time.

Thanks alot Dave that helped a lot!! I think I will go with that setup with GT3037 and equal length. Yeah I am the same way I don't know anything about tuning I just want to drive my car and have it run smooth as possible ie no aem etc.

I have had both a 50 trim and 35r on my car. The 50 trim spools lightening fast comparred to 35r. makes usable torque 6-800 rpm sooner. A properly setup 50trim is pretty much the same as a 3037. The 50 trim maxes out at 490whp, 3037 maxes at 520whp. Not a huge difference between the two.

The 50 trim definitely spools faster than the GT35R with comparable manifolds. We have great success with the GT35R and 50 trim. Just depends on what the customer wants from their car.

yeah you guys make good points....i was using a equal length awesome manifold on the gt35r and the only experience with the 50trim i have was with short runner non-equal length manifold with a slight exhaust leak . The 50 trim should (dual bb or not) spool faster than a gt35r. I still say all in all the 3037 is the best for our motors all around ....do it right the first time.

We are doing another 50 trim set up next week. Here is a short list of mods going on this 05.

50 trim w/equal length manifold
780's, walbro
HKS 264,272, studs
RnR 3"Turbo Back
RnR FMIC Kit
AEM EMS

We should be able to make 400whp on 91 octane at 22psi no problem.

hey Ryan,

What is your say on which spools faster and makes more power?

GT3037 kit or the 50trim kit (both with equal length manifold)??

And could you PM me a price for the GT3037 kit that you guys have?

Thanks!
