Reversed stock bypass valve

I was installing a dp and 02 housing and decided to reverse the stock bypass valve. Do notice a big difference of holding boost longer towards redline. It is also audible when revrsed, sounds like the TIAL BOV.

The same style of valve is used in the VW 1.8t's. That is a very common thing to do. It worked great on my VW, good luck.

This is a big mod on other boards... personally I haven't seen any benefit, but some say it really helps. Not to mention free!

if you do a search you will find concrete evidence on here about why not to do that!
just buy a dual port.

It will hold boost better. The problem is that it won't release the pressure as easily, creating a higher chance for compressor surge and damage to the turbo.

i had mine on backwards before by accident, k&n told me to put it on, sure its loud but its sounds like its barking at you, you can hear the compressor surge and whistling, and feel the flutter, not to mention it was picky at idle and kept stalling.
