Buschur Stg4 Cars w/Alcohol

Have you dynoed your car and what is your setup? I am interested in what kind of HP people are getting on 93 octane gas w/alcohol injection. Anyone over the 400whp mark with the stock turbo?

Thanks,
Shad

I'd be curious to see what people are getting. I would guess around 360-370 with just a straight Stage 4 + alky.

On a mustang dyno I bet I would be in the 370-400 range. But I would deff. lose the 1st gen BOV..I was having boost leakage. I put the Tial on and its amazing...it improved everything all the was down to drivability.

Are you running speed density? Was your 1G crushed? How did you know that you were having boost leakage?

I have a 1G and have wondered whether it is holding properly. Above 18 psi the reading on the boost gauge bounces around a bit when the boost ramps ups hard and I hear faint blow-off noises at the same time.

I'm not sure whether to try crushing the 1G or just switch to something like a Greddy Type-S.

I could never get the 1G that I had installed to work correctly. It always leaked at boost levels above 19psi or so, even when crushed. I need something that will reliably hold at least 25-26psi without leaking and allows recirculation. I don't have exact details yet but I'm working on a better solution.

I took both springs out of my type-s, measured their spring stiffness, and originally used a home depot spring that was stiffer than the soft spring, but softer than the hard spring. This allowed my type-s to hold 28psi before leaking (pressure tested), with no compressor surge and only an occasional "hiccup" during light throttle lifts.
