Bout to look at the PM... of course the more options the better. Remember, I am a servant of "bang for the buck". Competition in the market is alway good for the consumer in the end.

Sorry to hear that, are there still problems? If so, just set aside a day and go from a-z...

Yeah, things are starting to level out. There were times when I had to just back off and cool down. Looks like the 1G BOV just won't cut it, leaking. This was a temp. BOV. Waiting for another to take it's place.

stvbreal, I'm sorry that you've been having issues. As I recall from our pm's, we've both had our problems. Thank God, I have mine sorted out. It's now just a matter of fine tuning the "system". I'm making about 187 more HP over the stock configuration at the wheels. It pulls like nothing I've ever ridden in before.

On the negative side, the fan provided in the kit is not adequate for the heat here in Texas. My temps at the track were getting dangerously high the other night. A different, more efficient fan is in the near future. Also, trying to find the most cost effective yet capable clutch to put on the car. Many choices, many prices.

If I can help, please do not hesitate to pm me.

Glad to hear your car is doing well. You might need a higher CFM fan for that heat in Texas on the track.

Interesting comment... what would you suggest with your kit?

^ Yes I have. As I stated earlier, I'm making 187 more WHP then I did when I was stock.

Ryan...any suggestions for the fan?

He basically doubled his hp. Stock 03s put down 185 whp and Whoosh put down 372 whp at 28 psi of boost. He probably has another 40-50 whp left in it with more boost and a little more timing. He also ran a 12.9 at 119 with a 2.4 60 ft. His car should be good for low 11s when he gets his new clutch.

My experience w/ stock turbo w/ 10.5 back housing according to my autometer EGT on stock manifold:
1300 degrees - cruising in 5th - no boost
1400 to 1500 degrees - 10 psi in 5th
All out top end run - goes past 1800 degrees in 5th (my gauge stops around there)

Isnt 1800 degrees a bit high, I thought 1700 or above is considered dangerous?

Yeah, 1650 is the danger zone. 1800 means your engine just died.

1. 1800 is on a 5th gear top end run. 150+ (no - not on the street)
2. Are you basing your assumptions on danger zone w/ the sensor located before or after turbo? Recall that sensor on mani is going to read substantially higher than that after turbo.
3. Does anyone else have an autometer EGT gauge on a stock turbo mani so I can compare readings?

Appreciate the input - if I have a problem I'ld like to know.
