It's been so long since my last post, I'd forgotten about this thread.
Here's my update info...I installed the 3076 kit and cams at the same time. The installation went smooth and everything fit like it should. Can't say enough about the quality of the RNR kit. The only problems we had were "operator error" mistakes. The next day I went to a local shop to get it tuned. I was disappointed with the numbers and the overall performance of the turbo. I was expecting much better numbers. It seemed like I had all the lag and none of the power.
Needless to say, the turbo was switched out for a new GT35R from RNR. I'm much happier now. The car pulls hard at street level boost (21psi) and is just insane at race gas level (26psi). Tonight we are going to the track for some runs on C16. I hope to up the boost to 28psi and add some timing to a very conservative tune. The only down side is that I'm still on the stock clutch, so I'll be doing the "granny" off the line.
I'll post some numbers on Thursday for comparison to my pre-turbo runs.

Well, last night we went to the track and doing the "granny" off the line is not something you can do with a 35R. Because of the stock clutch I started at 3000 rpm's. Bad idea. Fell flat on it's nose. Went to 4000, 5000 and finally 5500 rpm off the line. Car still bogged bad. To give you an idea on the best run I cut a 2.41 60ft. and a 5.92 330 ft. time. I did pull like a mad deamon through the traps at 119.02 mph though.
I need a clutch BAD!

sup man...get a clutch in that bad boy! I HIGHLY recommend the exedy triple ceramic....will hold all you will get outta it and shift super fast. I just recently installed mine and love it.

Thanks for the input Dave, but I'd have to start painting wheels or something to fork out $2600. The wife would be selling my detached cojones on Ebay if I brought home a $2600 clutch!

the act is ok but won't allow for fast shifting. I had it ...i know. Anyway a twin would work also for what you need.

Thanks for the demeaning input! It always feels great when someone thinks you're an idiot.
I knew well in advance that a clutch would be in order. Actually for street driving, the stocker works well on pump gas and 21 psi. No problems whatsoever. I have been reluctant to spend the money on a clutch, pressure plate and flywheel for once every three months and 4 or 5 runs I make at the track. I was more than a little surprised at the increase in performance on c16 and almost 28 lbs. of boost. I've had it tuned on 109 and 26 psi, but this was the first for the combination I ran at the track. Last night was an effort to see quantitative results of the new "massive turbo setup".

I read that there was rattling problems with the twin. Do you have any personal experience with them?

Final update: I located a boost leak (substantial) on the downstream side of the intercooler and fixed that problem with an extra t-bolt clamp. Went to a dyno day at MZM in Austin yesterday to see what she would do. Couldn't be happier!
With the addition of some 104 and raising the boost to 28 psi, I've doubled the output from stock. This is running a very safe street tune that I can run any time of the year. This is very important when you consider the temperatures we have here in Texas.
The only things left now is the addition of a clutch assembly that will handle the increased torque at the track, improve the efficiency of the cooling system, the addition of an alky kit and purchasing the Datalogic software to fine tune all the parameters.
