as long as the wastegate is mounted to a TIAL flange it will be fine with no gasket. They are both 2 perfectly machined surfaces and will seal.

BTW i'm interested to know the price of this kit too. Or what is RNR's website so at least we can see a listed price there?

Yes. I think Ryan wanted to maintain perfect fitment, and what better way than to pre-assemble?

First let me tell you that I am not the last word on turbos. What I've learned, in the most basic of terms, is that the 3071 will spool alittle faster (closer to stock) but loose some on the top end to the 3076. I believe that with how the kit was ordered and the rest of my supporting mods, I can pick up some lost spool and still make good HP and TQ towards redline.

by looking at the setup, the jet coating appears to be the "sterling series" which is the bling bling look. I had it on my manifold and it all cracked off. Its only good to 1300 degrees. And if your making serious power your gonna be hotter then that. Im sending mine to get their 2000 degree coating, however it doesnt come in bling bling silver, it comes in only black, battleship gray, or navy blue. And the are all a "flat" non shiny finish.

I'm sorry to hear that. While I'm sure nothing lasts forever, it is comforting to know that I do have a warranty (and it's not backed by Mitsubishi...lol).

To answer an earlier post, the "orange" you see between the flanges are copper gaskets.

RnR's website lists the price as $3599.00 for the GT30R kit and the equal length manifold an additional $600.00. These were both purchased on a group buy for less then that. Additionaly, I had the dump from the wastegate rerouted back to the O2 housing, jet-hot coating on the manifold and the tubine section of the turbo and the compressor housing polished. These are additional items that Ryan could explain the costs better.

Thanks, I couldn't be happier with the final product. I am definately looking forward to how it all comes together. I've had a very detailed plan from the first mod until now.

I'm feeling that way myself. It really is "all about the Benjamin's".
