Drivetrain noise during deceleration...

Does anyone else have drivetrain chatter/noise when letting off the accelerator while in the higher rpms in 3rd gear? I have a very loud and annoying metal-vibration sound...like something is loose or broken under the car...maybe the heat shield, another metal object, dunno?!? Any help, suggestions, or personal experiences? The car runs fine, just like the day I bought it, but the sound has always been there, so I though it was normal, but it is hella-annoying...

Mine does that too. It's way louder since I got a new clutch. I took it to the dealer, they say its normal. 3rd gear is the worst.

Try pressing the clutch in and listen to the wonderful silence. Not to be a jerk, but if you do a search then there are numerous threads concerning this subject with multiple responses and it's 'normal.'
