Question about camshafts?

Guys what you think about the HKS 264 camshafts!!! Is it worth to have them and is there any big difference in the fuel consumption and the HP? Thanks

Nice setup if you dont plan on upgrading the turbo and want emphasis on low and mid range tq. They are compareable up top vs the other combo's on the stock turbo

you'll see an increase of power all along the power band and you'll lose more gas if you floor it...ive heard better gas if you drive normal.

Go for it if you do not intend to upgrade your stock turbo. You will definitely love it.

I order some HKS 264/264 from Gruppe-S and can't wait to install them.
definitively an upgrade to do if you don't want to upgrade Turbo, have no EMS and you are a daily driver.

I am going to buy cams this week, I have a megan manifold, full TBE, walbro 255, AMS fuel rail, injen intake, lower IC pipe and doing a full custom dynoflash in a month. I am not planning on upgrading turbo or intercooler anytime soon.

I was thinking of 272s, but dont want the idle issues, some suggested cam gears, you think I should stick with 264 or go 272? how much is the difference?

i have read that if you are sticking with the stock turbo, stay with 264s and 272s for those with bigger turbo, not a whole lot difference in peak hp increases, the 272s are more top end though
