HKS>exhaust/downpipe/intake 05 GSR

O.k. i hit 1000 miles today on a 05, got my first oil change and now im ready to start playing!

I think HKS makes great products, i've used their parts on my cars from the past.
Today i ordered, the downpipe, carbpn-ti, and drop-in, to be my first mods on a
2005 GSR.

Im not looking to make huge 500 power plus numbers on the dyno, i will be more than happy in the 325-375 range. With these mods as my first on the car, followed up by other mods, do you pros think i will be able to achieve this?
Or did i just order a bunch of parts that will limit me and not produce what i am trying to achieve!

Thanks

haha...

Yo man..it's cool....

I've read about a couple guys hitting 340+whp or so with that exhaust combo...

...but...i think they also had custom flashes, bigger injectors, newer fuel pump...mbc, etc. etc........so to somewhat answer ur question...i would say it's possible...

I have the HKS DP and 30TH Ann. with a stock cat and a Blitz Power Induction box cover....that's it.....and man...it does feel crazy on the butt dyno....since we both have 05's we benefit from the bigger hotside...

I haven't dyno'd her yet....but will most likely do it soon just to get a rough figure and a basis on where I'm at....

I'm only looking for 300-340whp though...just something very useable and streetable...(and smog-able....for Cali)....

u did good with that purchase...you won't be disappointed...quality is top notch...and the sound is awesome....

Your future mods are similar to mine. Expect to see similar gains.

Please pick up a Ultimate Racing Test Pipe. Guaranteed No CEL's and gives great gains. Best bang for buck part for the EVO.

Thanks man, yah were in the same boat, gotta be careful here in SoCal what we do with the car, way to strict!!! My carbon-ti came this morning and put it on, sounds gooodddd, and already noticed some power gains on the butt-dyno!!! Can't wait for the dp to arrive.

What do you really think of the blitz induction cover, think its a waste, or any definate gain from it, or would you say put the doh towards something else??

Thanks
