and you're still not at 2.5L, you plan on going .080 or .100" over?
or you can get a custom crank made with a larger stroke, or get the rod journals welded and offset ground.
Why do you say you will have cooling problems?

I'm glad someone else said something first.

That’s what I hate about these forums. Flaming flaming and flaming whether vendor is flaming a customer like Chris or member flaming a vendor. Take it easy guys. The guy is working hard with some people to get this thing going so why should we doubt him!!! Let him finish and we will see. After all he had a 640~ WHP EVO that he build himself from the ground up with no one help.

I don't think anyone has flamed him. Just pointing out a couple of things about the numbers.
I think it's fantastic that someone is working on new, potentialy very powerful upgrades for the EVO. I wish him luck.

Anyway we will know more and should be able to give out everything in 3-4 weeks.

Oh and im not sure why i posted that .20 over thing on a earlier post dont know what i was thinking???

Chris

Cool, I was scratching my head a bit when you said only .020" over
If you are doing a custom stroke crank make sure you use the best out there, going much over 100mm stroke is really going to be tough on longevity and reliability in high HP and high RPM applications. Let me know when you get this beast done!

Good luck with that.

I bought a set of evo valves from chris. had to wait three weeks to get them even though I stressed i needed them for an engine asap. Then when they arrive there are only 12 valves, not 16 like I paid for. And they weren't low mileage like new valves like described. they were well used and already cut on a valve grinder. Useless to me. Gave up after two weeks of hounding him for a refund.

anyone familiar about paypal buyer protection?
i might need to use that.

even he told me that he will return my money in a week.

My description was look at the webpage and look at the pictures. You talked to your engine building and you both agreed that it will work. You then got everything ready with the engine builder and at the last moment told him you were not going to use him costing him money becouse he setup time for you to go to him.

You then went to another builder once agian i told you to look on the webpage for the details of the head and you said ok and bought it. You received the item in question and now you are not happy with it.

And how dare you call up the our company and threaten them. It really shows what kind of person you are in my book.

The valves in the head you received are 1mm over so how are you going to say that they are the same head.

I have pictures of everything. Emails showing the whole conversation. So i wouldnt keep talking if i were you.

Its funny that i sent you 16 valves becouse you said you needed them. I was a nice guy and sent you retainers and springs to go with the valves becouse you asked if i had some. i sent these at no additional cost to you.

I then get a call saying that the valves are cut and are missing valves. Hmm lets see you needed valves. I sent you 16 agian i have pictures of everything i send becouse of things like this. I then get a call saying that it is missing valves and you dont need them anymore. Hmm weird

Chris
