Those settings look ok, although I would start with your SET around 55% and slowly bump it up until you get the boost you want. It's better to start a little low and adjust up gradually.

use 62% instead of 67 and work your way up, remember to test it in 5th gear and cold weather will make it spike

Why is your setgain so low? Setting it at 6psi should make it rise very slowly, right? I'm guessing you meant to type 16psi.

Do any EBCs hold the same boost even during large weather changes? I mean, why do I have to adjust my Spec 2 up/down with hot/cold weather? I always thought that since the thing has boost feedback, it'd do it for me. Is this just a Spec 2 characteristic, or are they all like this?

No, I have it at 6 so it won't spike but it will still spike in cold weather.

I use gain at 13, start boost at 6.7 ( 0.45 kg/cm), using 60%. Thats at 22 psi.

ok. im running these settings. 67%, 3 gain, set gain 6, limiter 3% from 22.4psi will get you to 21.7 psi and when the weather changes witch it is alot boost is going every where. What do i need to adjust to turn it up. tonight i was running 18lbs and i needed 22 and i played with everything and nothing helped. And is there anything to run constant boost instead of all this spiking and falling?

Mine holds boost with in .1 bar. It does spike on cold days though (about .2 - .3 bar spike).
It seems every car is a little different on what settings work.
Make sure you have the boost controller hooked up to the right vacuum lines... mine was wrong for several months and was a little erratic and didn't hold boost. I paid someone to install it and they installed it the DSM way.

Ok, here are the exact numbers....

60% (boost) try turning up 2% at a time until you get the psi you are looking for
Gain - 8%
Set Gain - 110 (11 psi to start boost)
Warning - 250 (25 psi is when the max limit will kick in)
Limit - 4% (will drop boost 4% once limit is hit)

Remember to push the knob to "set" that number, otherwise it will not lock each setting in. If you still can't get higher than 20 or 21, I would check for leaks. The Greddy can push it up well above that. I was just at 24 psi and I only had it at 62%, but every car is a little different.

You should set your psi in 4th or 5th gear. 4th and 5th gear psi will read slightly higher than 1st and 2nd. So don't be alarmed if you don't get exactly 22 in 1st and 2nd.

The stock turbo will always drop boost a little towards redline no matter what, so expect that as well. Hope this helps...

really have to find your own setting since the settings are different for every car. There was a post way back on setting that one in perticular and when i had the profec b II I used that one to tune it.

My personal view is the unit sucks and I got a MBC and I was able to hold steady boost to redline.

Hey quick 2 questions. I have mine set for the same thing, but it spikes no matter what. So what do i do to get it from doing that, i have my set at 67%, gain a 9%, set gain is around 1.20, with a limit of 25psi and 2% limit. It spikes hard, then settles quick. Im confused on how to stop it from doing that.

yeah I had the same problem, I know how to tune the profec b spec II but the thing was PITA!

It also seemed like i was playing with it every time the temp changed, Trust take my word and sell the thing and get a MBC like hallman. Only have to play with it 2twice a year when the seasons change drastically between cold and hot. Since I got my hallman I've had no problems and dont have a problem with spiking. My biggest complaint about the Profec was even if i had my foot on 10% throttle it was boosting 21psi, it was either boost on or off no matter what the set gain was set to. Just like the problem your having it would boost like a mother f'er then finally settle down, I hate that piece of junk. That thing is a POS sorry but it took me a few months to figure that out. Its a good EVC for an Eclipse it works great on my friends I even installed his and tuned it. But for the evo hell no.

Either get the Hallman or spend some $$ and get the HKS EVC V, i'm sure many will agree with me on that one.

Good luck.
