Change the plugs to bpr7es and gap them down to .026". Plugs are crucial for power. Retune the safcII, someone did a ****ty job.

How long did you run rich for? Several weeks, months? If it were a prolonged period of time, then I would do a compression test on the motor to see if there was any ring damage to the pistons. There is a chance that you were running so rich it caused cylinder wash. If you have low compression then your motor will not make the power.

As for the plugs, you want to get the BR7ES or the BR8ES. The "P" series stands for protruding and have a tendency to run hot compared to the non-protruding.

I think the best thing for you to do is take all the electronic, FPR, and MBC stuff off the car. Get your factory boost lines back in order, and have the fuel system back to stock other than the fuel pump. Start from here, and you should be able to find out what is going on with the car. Make sure you installed the cam gears correctly. The evo comes from the factor with –5/-5 timing. You have to take this into consideration when installing cam gears.

Also, the numbers you put down are pretty close to stock on 91oct and an EVO with stock cams and little to no tuning will fall on its face after 5000rpm.

The car actually felt pretty good today.. its actually pulling much harder to redline, but i really cant tell what its supposed to feel like from my butt dyno. I believe i was running rich for quite a few months. Is there any hope if the engine compression is low?

everyone is saying its the time gears but its honestly idling to good to be the time gears. Vacumm is near 5800-6200kpa and it will idle pretty smooth.. there is just a slight flutter from time to time.
